This present translation of the Aramaic NT into Afrikaans is done by *withheld by request - Ed.*, a medical student from Johannesburg, South Africa. It is the first translation of its kind in Afrikaans.

Hierdie vertaling van die Aramese Nuwe Testament (wat ook bekend staan as die Peshitta) is gedoen deur *withheld by request - Ed.*, 'n mediese student aan die Universiteit van die Witwatersrand. Dit is die eerste vertaling van sy soort in die Afrikaanse taal.
